At Social Care 4U, we have a wide range of fully qualified and trained staff, who have experience of providing care and support to various client groups such as vulnerable adults and children, the elderly, those with dementia, mental health and learning disabilities.
Specialist Areas
Domiciliary & Home Care
Our services range from 1 hour calls to a 24 hour waking service, seven days a week. Our staff provide assistance with cooking, cleaning, bathing, shopping, dressing, companionship and much more. All our professional and friendly carers possess the skills to cater for you or a loved one’s personal needs in a home setting.
Live-In & Respite Care
With an experienced Live-In carer or nurse, clients have the option of staying in their own homes comfortably and safely. Our qualified carer or nurse can provide help when needed while allowing the client to retain independence and peace of mind.
This service allows clients to carry on living in cherished surroundings while preserving their quality of life safely and with dignity. We provide a respite care service to help carers take the break they need, while providing the peace of mind that their loved one is in safe and caring hands. Regular holidays and breaks can make the world of difference to family members acting as carers to relatives
Residential & Supported Living Care
All our carers’ are trained in Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Medication Administration and need to attend an “Introduction to Care” course before being placed in a residential or nursing home environment. Our range of services allows us to meet the needs of a wide variety of client types and we pride ourselves on offering a personal service tailored to individual needs. We provide carers who can help with a variety of activities throughout the day such as washing & dressing, companionship, shopping, going to bed, preparing meals, toileting etc.
Placements
We currently fulfil all placements within 2 hours of the request being made. We also have an on call service allowing you to ring us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which is directly answered by the on-call manager – not an answer phone.
Quality Management
At Social Care 4U we ensure all our staff go through stringent recruitment procedures. The process includes interview by our dedicated professional staff team to ensure that adequate checks are completed on every candidate.
The checks include Disclosure and Barring Service checks, DOH and DFES, References covering the previous three to five years or more, one of which must be from the current or last employer, health declaration, and Identification checks only original documents accepted, and verification of qualification authentication.
The objective of these checks is to ensure the suitability for working with children and vulnerable adults.
